Home & Community Development
Home and Community Development Services is a portfolio of
programs of Southern Junction that is intended to provide high
quality, collaborative, outreach support services to clients in
community accommodation provided either by Southern Junction,
Housing SA or other organisation.
The aims and objectives of the portfolio are as follows:

To provide crisis and ongoing intervention through support,
advocacy and information to clients with complex needs and
to assist clients with accommodation and other needs that
recognises and facilitates their movement towards
self-reliance and independence

To make referrals to other services where necessary, in a
context that recognises client’s rights and
responsibilities as tenants and assisting/supporting them to
maintain their tenancy wherever possible in order to prevent
them from entering or re-entering the cycle of homelessness.
