ABOUT THE SUNDAY MAIL CITY-BAY FUN RUN 2008 - FEET ON THE STREET
TEAM
In 2007 SJCS, along with support
from the Flinders University Housing Research team, fielded a
team in the annual City-Bay Fun Run. The
Feet On The Street
team
successfully raised donations in support of the Southern Family
Benefit Fund by participating in the walk/run. 2008
saw over 100 participants join in the walk, jog or run, in 2009
we are looking for even more people to put their
Feet On The Street
for the Southern Junction Family Benefit Fund.
Donations by way of
gathering sponsor dollars for your walking or running efforts
over the 3, 6 or 12km distances, will enable struggling families
to:
-
Participate in parent effectiveness training
-
Access professional counseling and support groups
-
Gain access to family home visiting programs
-
Access a range of practical supports to get parents and
children through challenging times
-
Receive a Christmas Hamper of food and small gifts

year’s dynamic
Feet On The Street
team!
·

register for the Fun Run, ie.
o
10 x registration fees for students = $160
o

o
30 x registration fees for students = $480
·
There are significant branding opportunities for
your company as well, including:
o
Your logo printed on the back of the t-shirts
